Growing up in San Diego Charlie Mia discovered and fell in love with makeup at a young age. As a teen and young adult she was always being complemented on her own makeup, but never thought that she could or would have pursued a career in makeup artistry.
In 2013 she enrolled at the Couture Academy of Modern Make-Up Artistry and received her makeup artist certification and Makeup Thug MUA was born!! However, she craved more and enrolled in the Makeup Artistry Program at the Bellus Academy in Poway, Ca. San Diego Makeup Artist Charlie Mia takes pride in her work and the fact that her love for her craft lead her to become a dual qualified makeup artist. Charlie Mia specializes in glamours and natural beauty makeup, but also can do special fx makeup upon request.
